GPAINNOVA Installs a DLyte PRO500, the Most Advanced Dry Electropolishing Machine, at Rösler’s Customer Experience Center

- Back to overview

GPAINNOVA, one of the leading groups in surface finishing technologies, has recently installed its DLyte PRO500 at Rösler’s Customer Experience Center in Untermerzbach (Germany). With more than 80 years of experience, Rösler is the leading group in the field of surface finishing and offers the world's most comprehensive portfolio of mass finishing and shot blasting equipment and related consumables.

With this acquisition — the most advanced, powerful, and versatile dry electropolishing machine on the market— Rösler completes the range of DLyte machinery available at its headquarter in Germany. The DLyte PRO500 will help Rösler, the exclusive sales partner for GPAINNOVA in Germany, to further expand its range of polishing solutions for industrial applications, both for conventionally and additively manufactured parts. The DLyte PRO500 is designed to treat large batches and bigger parts with complex geometries requiring high quality surface finishing. For some specific applications, a combined process consisting of mass finishing equipment and Dry Lyte polishing technology offers an outstanding and unique surface quality in a highly efficient manner.

Cutting-Edge Technology for the German Market

DLyte PRO500
The DLyte PRO500 is now installed in Rösler's Customer Experience Center at the company's headquarters in Untermerzbach, Germany, and adds the dry polishing process from GPAINNOVA for large batches and bigger parts to the wide range of surface finishing solutions.

Launched in November 2019 and presented that year at Formnext, the DLyte PRO500 has been especially designed for mass production. This equipment provides a high-quality, fully automated surface treatment for high-value, delicate or complex parts, with specific finishing requirements and high precision. Thanks to the combination of an electrochemical process and a careful mechanical movement, it is possible to eliminate the roughness of the pieces. DLyte PRO500 offers important technical advantages over other technologies, such as abrasive finishing, robotic scouring and polishing, and mechanical brushing.

This solution simplifies and standardizes the post-production process of metal parts, improving the finishing results obtained with traditional polishing systems.

In September 2018, DLyte received the TCT Award for excellence in Additive Manufacturing Post-Processing.
