The new media blow-off system for roller conveyor shot blasting machines – saves time in maintenance and is even more energy friendly

The long-term business relationship between Salzgitter Mannesmann steel trading company in Zeithain, Germany, and Rösler is proof that our guiding principle „Finding a better way…“ is not just a slogan but part of our everyday business practice. After about ten years round the clock operation of the RRB 34/6 roller conveyor shot blasting machine Salzgitter Mannesmann has decided to replace the media brush-off/blow-off system.
Thanks to intensive consultation and technical support by our specialists in the Rösler service team the media brush-off/blow-off system was, jointly with the customer, optimized. Not only the sensor technology but also the raising and lowering mechanism were improved making the operation much more user friendly. The new system requires less time for general maintenance, further optimizes the cleaning effect and, by requiring less energy, is also more eco-friendly.
