Industry 4.0 in the steel industry – Partners4Steel offer answers

Industry 4.0 has long since ceased to be a buzzword, but has become a living reality in many companies and sectors – the steel industry has also comprehensively recognized this potential and relies on fully automated production lines.

In this respect, Rösler, together with its partner from Behringer GmbH, has developed a concept for the processing of steel profiles and sheet metal for the customer thyssenkrupp Schulte, which forms the optimal basis for the networking of the machine park – completely in line with industry 4.0. Thanks to the expertise of the two companies, it was possible to develop an individual machine concept tailored to specific requirements very early on in the project planning phase. thyssenkrupp Schulte uses the maintenance-friendly standard roller conveyor shot blasting machine from Rösler and high-performance sawing technologies from Behringer GmbH. The control of the interlinked equipment is fully connected to the customer’s ERP system. This allows thyssenkrupp Schulte to integrate the system easily and flexibly into the automated production line. The compact shot blasting machine delivers efficient and economical processing with maximum reproducible results.
